Within further implementation of National Strategy on the Protection of Children from Violence it is essential to continue developing the system of coordination in the protection of children from violence on national and regional level with emphasise on prevention, continuously supporting systematic education of employees of respective entities as well as raising awareness about the problematic with focus on promotion of tools for help and also building capacities in the area of support services for child victims of violence.
There are also other significant challenges within the implementation of updated Strategy as an establishment and operation of national helpline for child victims of violence, improvement of process of early identification of child victims of violence as well as preparation of professional procedures and methods of work with perpetrators of violence against children, an establishment of new interrogation/interviewing rooms for aggrieved persons who are minors and simultaneously ensuring the respective qualification of representatives of the Police Force who conduct the interrogations and also preparation of conception of the protection and support of children online reflecting the current trends in Europe.
