it is the central state administration body, inter alia, for state social benefits, social help, social and legal protection of children and coordination of state family policy. The basic goal of social and legal protection of children and social guardianship is to provide the necessary assistance so that children can grow up in a healthy, safe and stimulating environment of their family, or in adequate alternative care. As a gestor is responsible for the implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in the Slovak Republic.

In the field of upbringing and education in kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools and in school facilities, the Ministry manages the performance of state administration, in the field of education. It draws up and issues generally binding legal regulations and other regulations for schools. Schools are very important partner for us in the process of coordination the protection of children against violence, given that children spend most of their time at schools. At the national level we cooperate with representatives of the Ministry of Education. Science, Research and Sport and at the regional level with representatives of individual schools.

it is the central state administration body of the Slovak Republic, inter alia, for the protection of the security of persons and property, entry into the territory of the republic and the stay of foreigners in the territory of the republic and the management of the Police Force. At the national level, we cooperate with representatives of the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic and at the regional level with individual representatives of the Police Force of the Slovak Republic, most often with preventists and investigators.

it is the central state administration body for courts and prisons. The Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic is coordinator of the implementation of the Act no. 36/2005 Coll. on the Family, which is a very important legal act in the field of protection of chidlren. At the national level we cooperate with representatives of the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic and at the regional level with representatives of individual courts.

it is the central state administration body for health care, health protection, public health insurance, further education of health care workers and it also prepares proposals for fundamental directions and priorities for the development of the state health policy. At the national level we cooperate with representatives of the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic and at the regional level with individual paediatricians.

it is the central state administration body, inter alia, for the state language, educational activities, folk and artistic production, media and audio-visual, relations with churches and religious societies.

The Prosecutor's Office is an independent, hierarchically arranged, unified system of state bodies headed by the Attorney General, in which prosecutors operate in relations of subordination and superiority. The Prosecutor's Office protects the rights and legally protected interests of individuals, legal entities and the state. Within the scope of its competence, the Prosecutor's Office is obliged in the public interest to take measures to prevent violations of legality, to detect and eliminate violations of legality, to restore violated rights and to take responsibility for their violation. At the national level, we cooperate with representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Slovak Republic and at the regional level with individual district and regional prosecutors.

The Commissioner for Children is involved in the protection of children's rights by supporting and enforcing the rights granted to children by international treaties. It is an independent body that anyone can turn to in case of violation or threat to the rights of the child.
