Since their birth, the lives of children have been shaped by the decisions of not only parents, but also other adults who come into frequent contact with children because of their profession - doctors, educators, teachers, and psychologists. It is not important that we are experts in the field of violence against children. However, it is more important that, as professionals working with children, we have at least a basic overview of the issue so that we can be helpful not only in the area of prevention, but also in the early identification of possible violence against children. It is also important that we do not unknowingly commit it ourselves. It is necessary to realise that each of us, by choosing of our profession, has also accepted a certain share of responsibility in the area of protection of children against violence.

S/he creates conditions for mutual cooperation, organises and facilitates multidisciplinary working meetings and exchange of information between state administration bodies, the police force, schools, school facilities, municipalities, higher territorial units, health care providers and other entities active in the field of protection of children against violence at regional level.
S/he provides adequate and targeted training for employees of cooperating entities according to the needs of the region
Develops activities to sensitise the public in the field of violence against children and participates in preventive activities according to the needs of the region
S/he creates an analysis of the occurrence of violence, its characteristics, actions taken and measures adopted;
S/he helps to establish functional contacts, exchange information, form an overall picture of possible threats to the child and her/his family and set up mechanisms for effective and early assistance to the child at risk of violence.
