Available proceedings of the expert conference "Trauma in childhood ... and what's next?"

On September 25-26, 2019, the second year of the conference organized by the National Coordination Center for Resolving the Issues of Violence against Children was held, entitled "Childhood Trauma ... and what's next?".

Among the speakers at the conference were guests from Ukaine. The topic of the war in Ukraine and the threat to children was one of the points of greatest interest to the conference participants. At the conference, Dr. Ewald Filler from the Austrian Government Office also spoke about the protection of children from violence. A very substantial progress was brought about by the research on the links between trauma in childhood and physiological health in adults, the implementation of which was supported by the National Coordination Center for Resolving the Issues of Violence against Children in the framework of the implementation of the Strategy for the Protection of Children against Violence. We also prepared workshops for the participants, where they could look for solutions on a practical level and learn new approaches to traumatized children. Among the speakers were also guests from the Czech Republic.
